Youth Shelters

The Ace Perennial Youth Shelter can be used in many situations. The Perennial youth shelter can be used either as a parent waiting shelter, outdoor classroom or as a youth shelter. The hexagonal design of the shelter and integral perimeter seating, means that a teacher can position every child at the front of the class and maintain an increased level of attention. Whether teaching science, nature, or eco studies, teachers have reported that pupil’s interest, attention and desire to contribute more in class has increased since using our Perennial youth shelter.

As well as an outdoor classroom the Perennial shelter can be used by Parents at the start and end of school times when waiting to drop off or collect their children for school. Whilst not only providing exercise for child and parents promoting walking to school, the shelter creates a cleaner environment around the school area when parents leave their cars at home and walk to school knowing there is a sheltered area to use during adverse weather conditions.

Frequently specified by Community Police Officers, the Perennial youth shelter also acts as a dedicated meeting place for youngsters helping to cut down on crime and anti social behavior. Designed to be low maintenance and vandal resistant.

 
The youth shelter comes in two different sizes 6m x 6m and 4m x 4m. We generally say that the 4m youth shelter will seat a classroom of 20 pupils and the 6m a classroom of 30 pupils.
 
Manufactured from high quality aluminium extrusion, powder coated to a colour of your choice combined with our eco friendly 100 % recycled wood effect seating offers an extremely low maintenance solution to a varied amount of uses. Roof glazing is of UV stable polycarbonate that protects against harmful rays from the sun ensuring safe use in all weather conditions. 

Ace Shelters have been working with schools and nurseries for many years so all installation engineers, surveyors and field sales representatives have been CRB checked and passed CSCS health and safety examinations.
